What you are asked to agree to
Consent is required for storing or reading information on your device when it is not necessary for the service you asked for. The session, your language and display preferences, and your answer to this notice are necessary. Analytics is not: it stays off until you agree.
If you agree, the analytics tool (PostHog) records page views and actions, a random identifier and a short session. It does not record the contents of messages, passwords or uploaded files, and it is not used to show you ads. You can change your mind from this page or from the banner at any time.
Connections your browser makes to other sites
Two connections your browser may make to other sites are worth naming. If you open the map, its tiles are loaded from OpenStreetMap, which receives your IP address. If a user signed up with Google, their profile picture is served by Google, so your browser contacts Google to display it. Analytics requests, when you have agreed, go to this site first and are forwarded to PostHog; they do not load a script from another origin.
